我的系统是RH9,以前是双系统,两块硬盘,IDE0是WINXP,IDE1是LINUX,现在我把装了XP那块硬盘摘下来之后就进不去系统了,我以前看过贴子好像说重装GRUB就可以了,可是怎么装呢?我拿LINUX安装盘引导启动后就必需得格我的系统,选择升级安装也不行.各位帮帮忙.谢谢了!

原因是mbr被格了。。。
如果你用rescue启动后，chroot过去，然后运行一个，grub-install命令就可以了。
跟的参数是，你的硬盘，比如/dev/hda

刚才看了个贴子是这样写的,不过没看明白,rescue启动是用liunx安装盘引导后按F5吗?启动之后呢?chroot是什么意思?

没人知道吗?我听说用GRUB启动盘可以从新引导,可是在制作启动盘的时候又报错了.我挂载完软驱用MKE2FS也格式化完了,运行grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/floppy/'(fd0)'命令没用.提示如下:
[root@localhost mnt]# grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/floppy/'(fd0)'

INSTALL_DEVICE can be a GRUB device name or a system device filename.

小弟刚才也是重新安装了grub，安装盘启动之后在选择linux rescue(即F5）,然后会出现boot:，在boot后面输入linux rescue，后来就是配置语言和键盘以及网卡，之后会提示系统已经挂载在chroot/mnt/sysimage下，然后出现sh 2.05b#,就在后面输入grub进入grub，你的linux根分区是安装在第二块硬盘上的话就root (hd1,y),y是你安装linux的盘符，不知道的话可以用[tab]补齐。（注意“,”是英文输入状态下的逗号，以前我看置顶的帖子上以为是“.”）一般系统会提示可能的盘符，我的是一块硬盘上安装双系统，前面的都是fat分区，我也是刚刚才开始学习linux，不知道是放在那个分区，就一个个试，是ext分区的就选，选对的话就会提示成功，我一块硬盘就setup(hd0),之后安装成功重启 ，ok。 如果我说的有不对的地方各位大虾请指正，有更好的方法的话也请各位大虾指教，谢谢。

2.boot:linux rescue
3.chroot /mnt/sysimage
grub-install /dev/hda
4.重启
