fcitx problem, help wanted!

sorry, I cannot input Chinese right now!

I want to install fcitx. According to its instruction PDF:

If XFT is installed, configure like this: ./configure -prefix=install_dir;
If XFT is not installed, configure like this: ./configure -prefix=install_dir --disable-xft

So, my question is, how to know whether XFT is installed or not in my Slackware?

I used ./configure --prefix=/usr

And it is working great.

SL12中是已经安装了XFT的。
fcitx真好用啊。。。
