安装gentoo,启动卡在了grub，请高手提示

郁闷啊，系统按照handbook都装好了，
可是重启以后进入gurb以后选择了启动的内核，卡在了如下提示中

root=/dev/sda3
Error 11:unrecognized device string
我的根目录的确在/dev/sda3上啊，怎么启动不起来呢？
