Due to the overwhelming variety of Linux distributions available, Intel has decided to base most of the information on this common version. Other operating systems, such as FreeBSD* or Solaris*, are not covered here; refer to your specific vendor if you have questions.
Limited support is provided for Linux from Intel. Typically, Intel provides drivers, as applicable, to the major Linux distributions. You should contact your distribution vendor prior to contacting Intel for support.
