用slackware吧，安装时有lowmem选项，速度应该比debian快一点点

偶的2G硬盘。装Debian+gnome+办公上网。

楼主在debian版问，当然是支持debian的多啦～其实debian和slackware都是不错的选择

You have to do cross-compiling, you can't do it in ricemi's machine due to limited RAM, HDD space and you even cannot use the LFS LiveCD as host!

Damn Small Linux or mulinux may be suitable.

cross-compile lfs and clone it through network just will be fine.

16M的内存实在太少，这一点让人头痛。。。
别一方面装什么版本的Debian好一点呢，也是头痛的事。

桌面大概是不能安装了.你试试用光盘安个基本系统.这只能在控制台下工作了

好像硬盘安装,内存小了点.(一般ramdisk好象设的是20000k吧)
