Why my kernel(gentoo-2.4.19) dont recognise my sis5513 chipster,network card??
but My kernel(2.4.20,download frome www.kernel.org)can recognise it?

it does support SiS 900/7016. 5513 is not in the list. you thus can try ne2000 for substitute.

sis5513 is my motherboard chipster????
my ethernetcard is rtl8139
But my 2.4.20 is slower than 2.4.19???~!!!!!

sis5513 is suported by 2.4.19, my server'chipset is sis5513,
run Radhat7.1
