eselect profile选择不同的profile对最终编译结果究竟有什么影响？

我先在选择Server profile，在每次emerge的时候都会提示

我用x86 KEYWORD

然后在make.conf里 -multilib, 编译出来的也就是个no-multilib的系统吧?

原来是USE组合，那警告信息我就忽略了

不仅仅是USE
所有影响portage行为的环境变量
如果说make.conf是portage全局环境的个人定制，那profile就是portage全局环境的系统默认值
只不过不同的架构，不同的软件环境下，profile都会有所不同
所以gentoo提供了很多profile以供选择
