关于thinkpad w500 双显卡的问题

我看了，有几个问题 http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Lenovo_ThinkPad_T400 .


1.`Integrated and intel' 小节, 第二句话, 为什么 `... allow loading of the fglrx/radeon DRM for the discrete GPU... ' here ?

2. `Getting both to work' 小节, 是否在使用intel集成显卡时 ATI 显卡 会很热？这种方法是不是说把两个显卡的驱动都安装好，通过那个脚本和bios控制用哪个显卡。

PS. in http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/In ... _on_a_ThinkPad_W500 , it says `changing runlevel to 3 (init 3) leaves you with X eating 100% CPU when in fglrx' .

Then fglrx is enough stable now ?

If the intel graphics card has 3D function?

看了一下，反正比较麻烦。看起来，好像通过bios里边设定（integrated，dedicated），xorg可以知道你在用什么显卡。用intel显卡的时候，ati应该是没有通电的。
ＤＲＭ那个问题，是因为fglrx，需要自己的ＤＲＭ，你不可以用内核自带的。
最后一个问题，他说的操作版本应该不是gentoo。你应该不要太关心这个问题。

See the Intel Graphics article for more details. While following that guide, remember to build the kernel DRM as module to allow loading of the fglrx/radeon DRM for the discrete GPU, should you want to use discrete graphics later on.
明明是关于集成显卡，怎么最后一句说的是独立显卡？
