笔忘本MODEM的驱动问题

我用的是MDK10装在一个IBM的老式笔记上了,用起来感觉不错,可是有一个遗憾,就是我经常出差,所以找了一个USB线与我用的CDMA手机三星X199连接起来,找到一个在WINDOWS下的USB驱动后就可以设置拨号上网了,连接速度可以达到230K,基本是很好用的,但在LINUX下就只能发现这一个USB接口的SAMSUNG的硬件,但无法使用,故请教各位高手指点一下,能否找到这一驱动或有其它更好的方法解决??

主要是没有用过这样的设备，这种设备是usb猫？？？

用USB把手机与电脑连接起来就是把手机当成猫来用的,既然通过USB连接的当然是USB接口的猫了,可是如何使用就成了问题了,现在没办法还是要安装双系统来用平时就用LINUX而出差要上网就要把手机与USB连接起来就得用WINDOWS了很不方便,再说,用习惯了LINUX不想再用回WIDNOWS了.
