That's full.
You need to using mkinitrd to make a kenel image with the raid card module loaded in it or compile a new kernel with the driver compiled in.Kenel must load the proper module for your raid controler before booting, otherwise the controler is treated like an extra on board ide controler.
PS: Linux itself provides a powerfull "soft" raid tools, and according to my experience, though it's "soft",it doesn't lack performance.In fact, IDE raid itself is "soft".So, why not using it to build raid? |
