essy way to get VIA VT82xx pop out voice!

i've been struggling for about 7 days till just a moment ago i found the words on this page
only those important are pasted here:

VIA VT8233 sound with Red Hat Linux
The via82cxxx_audio driver that comes with the Red Hat Linux 9.0 (2.4.20-8 kernel) works with the VIA VT8233 on-borad audio controller.

(here comes the easy solution)
if the via82cxxx_audio driver and dependencies are not loaded (check with lsmod),add the following /etc/modules.conf entry
alias sound-slot-0 via82cXXX_audio

You may also load them manually with modprobe:
/sbin/modprobe via82cxxx_auido

Note: with XMMS, I have to sue the OSS Driver output plugin instead of the aRts Driver.

so the easiest way to extract sounds out from your VT8233 sound card is to INSTALL REDHAT 9.0

The Application Note below describes four methods of installing an audio driver for VIA south bridge chips VT8231, VT8233, VT8233A, VT8235 under Red Hat Linux 8.0.

and unzip it in windows (i've only tried to unzip this file in Windows) till you finally get a readme file, read it carefully and follow the instructions!
