求助!我的桌面分辨率只有800*600,如何设置为1024*768

今天刚刚重装了Red Hat 9,以前一直没装图形界面
开始安装的时候,只有屏幕中间大概800*600的区域显示,周围一圈都是黑的,无法使用
我以为到时候安装显卡驱动,设置好XF86Config就行了
我后来安装了NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run驱动
并按照要求修改XF86Config文件
一下是我的XF86Config文件:

其中在section screen 里面的Modes,1024*768是我自己加上的,原来没有

然后startx,显示nvidia公司标志,然后进入图形界面,但是分辨率是800*600

后来我试着把modes里面的800*600 和 640*480都删掉,
这样就完全不能进图形界面了,说no screen,还有一个 fatal IO error

我用XF86Config.backup恢复原来的设置,进入图形界面
想通过 系统设置->显示 来设置显示分辨率
但是 系统设置->显示 根本打不开!

请问该怎么设置才能使用1024*768的分辨率呢?

在"开始"---"系统设置"---"显示"里面设置
进去你就知道了,和WINDOWS差不多.
