问题：关于宽屏幕笔记本电脑1280×800分辨率设置

看了一些这方面文章，亲手更改x设置文件，但是分辨率还是没有更改正确，请问哪位能帮忙说明，谢谢

说一下显示器的型号，找出说明书，把水平和垂直频率设置一下

笔记本一般说明书里面好像没有液晶屏的两个刷新率的。只有最大分辨率的说明

For intel 810 series display adapter,   you can use 855resolution ( http://perso.wanadoo.fr/apoirier/ ),  a patch replacing the video mode with 1280x800 dynamically in the memory.  A more detailed introduction can be found at http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mmastran/fedora-core-2/index.html.
Note: for fedora core 3, refer to http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mmastran/fedora-core-3/index.html .

To see the refresh freqs, run command
     gtf 1280 800 75
Here resolution is 1280x800 and refresh freqs is 75Hz.
For my machine (Dell 700m), it returns the following modeline,
      # 1280x800 @ 75.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 62.62 kHz; pclk: 107.21 MHz
  Modeline "1280x800_75.00"  107.21  1280 1360 1496 1712  800 801 804 835  -HSync +Vsync
You can add this new modeline in your xorg.conf file.

能不能找到你的本本，如果不能，请将你的本本的牌子和显卡说清楚，我的也是宽屏的：1920×1200,现在使用的非常爽：DELL 8500 ti4200

有一点要注意的，就是在系统找不到你的显示器的时候，你要选择一个好些的，这样调节起来会好搞一些:% :% :% :%
