ATI不提供9550的驱动？

好象用9600的驱动就可以，本来就是简化版

我把它升级到9600了，还是不行。
ATI的显卡咋就这么难装呢，我的显卡是9550刷BIOS升级到9600的。在XP下没问题，从下面的Log文件来看似乎也认出来了，可就是启动不了X
我从来没有装过ATI的，还是Nvidia的容易装，以后再也不买ATI了，它出的什么Linux驱动对对它自己的显卡还不支持（只的是9550，7500.。）
Nvidia的多好，一个驱动就把它所有的型号给括了（当然最新的我不知道），哪位大侠给指点一下，我装的是Xfree86是4.4的，但驱动是4.3的。
那是因为原先4.3的也不行，才装了个4.4的。我用setup设置，随便选了一个ATI的是可能进X，可那是没有3D加速功能，试了一下红帽子里的雷电，就像蚂蚁一样。

没事

大哥搜索一下,小弟不才,已经解决这个问题很久了。
请参考我的帖子,而且,现在的新驱动更容易装的，好象许多补丁和手动的改动都不用了，兄弟不妨看看
不做改动直接安装.
