Help! Starting X error

I don't remember what I've updated last night.
But when I tried to startx as usual just now it appears something different.
As you can see in the picture below ( x is aliased for 'startx')
It did start an x server but nothing appeared and when I turned back to console
with Ctrl+Alt+F1, I saw something like the picture. The line "No protocol specified" appeared again and again. I've searched this on the internet but nothing found. There is one more thing : 'startx' executed by  root  is OK. I post this message here in hope of somebody helping me. Thanks a lot.

I can't find any error message in it.  Any help?

把 xorg.conf 文件里的所有 输入设备定义都删除

  2. sudo rm -rf /home/liwei/.Xauthority
  3. sudo chown -R liwei /home/liwei
  4. sudo chmod -R 744 /home/liwei

还真是这个问题
可是我不记得什么时候改过这个权限  难道是在这个目录里用root开X导致的？
