I'm trying to set it up on a Redhat Linux 7.3 (Dell Optiplex GX110)

all relevant modules (usbcore, usb-uhci, printer) are loaded. (The printer

combinations of printer, scanner, copier, fax, and photo-card reader),

from http://hpinkjet.sf.net.

非常便宜的入门级机器，与惠普DeskJet 3320 相似。 450元 人民币的打印机，这些打印机被" hpijs" 驱动从第1.3 版本开始支持。 驱动仅仅支持600 dpi，磁头对准确定在打印机内储存没被利用。

epson的有几款不错，比如580 c40 c41

也不是，太难用，不过还没有试，epson的机器，不能只用一个墨盒，每次打印都有洗头的危险，太费墨了。受不了。hp的这款打印机的20元一支的墨管不知道打印质量如何？如果能打印一百页，质量还过得去的话也是不错的选择。
