"WMA9 aka WMA3 aka WMAPro support is coming to libavcodec soon. Soon as in two or three months maybe. The code which I think is already working quite fine is in the ffmpeg gsoc (summer of code) repository. Until it's merged into the main ffmpeg repository, the binary dll is the only way to play wma3, but for that you need a 32bit mplayer."

chromium-bin在multilib下也是没法用的，因为没有32位的gconf的库。

Firefox上的Gears有一些非官方编译版本，以前我也在Gentoo下成功编译过，但现在不行了，现在的都是Ubuntu下的（貌似Google在Ubuntu下开发）。

acroread的加密功能是其它一些PDF阅读器没有的，字体渲染得也更好。

此外，multilib如果不安装32位软件，就没有app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-*这类包，那就跟no-multilib没太大区别了。

还有gcc,glibc等包，如果是no-multilib的话，/lib32和/usr/lib32两个文件夹都空空可直接删除掉的。

这算解决了？如果这样那我也解决了，我wine了一个window下面的mpalyer都可以放。其实以前有一个mplayer-bin，属于32位的，是可以通杀的，但现在没了

GCC只有64位的一份，glibc有两份。反正不多啦。du了下这两文件夹才区区87M而已。

你看明白没？32位版本只是目前的临时解决方案，将来会有native的解码器集成到libavcodec里面的。

运气真不好，刚讨论完chromium不能用后就出现了64位原生版
