Problems on drivers..............newbie trouble

I have two hardwares cannot spport linux
Actually, i donna know are they really can't support.
These hardwares are:
1-56k modem:
This is very horrible because it has different name on Win 2K/9X/ME/XP
In 2K/9X/ME/, it is called HSP56 Micromodem
In XP, it is called PCTEL Platinum V.90 Modem
P.S. I have a Realtek RTL8139 Ethernet and i have close it.
2-Scanner
It is made by Tiny Computers, a company from Europe.

I have all these drivers for XP, can i use them in Mandrake Linux 10.0?
