请问我该用哪个CD？gentoo中的stageX是什么？

我看了置顶的帖子和官方的handbook，可还是有如题的问题？
学校网速不好MinimalCD肯定不行，不知道UniversalCD和Package（软件包？）CD是干嘛的？
gentoo中的stage（阶段？）是干嘛用的？

问题是装的时候和装了以后emerge --sync需要网速。

装gentoo用那张CD不重要，看懂handbook比较重要。
