诸位大哥帮帮忙，升级完成执行revdep-rebuild时gedit编译不过。

升级python到2.6后，为什么还是从原先2.5的路径下调用文件，我已经emerge --depclean了，执行python-update提示没有旧的版本。

是用su取得root权限运行的gedit吗，如果是这样改用 su -

python-update的作用就是将在以前版本路径下（如你这里是2.5）的软件重新编译，使之到新的版本下，你可以看看2.5路径下的文件属于哪些包的，手工重新编译也行。
