如何使用wicd?

近几天经常移动办公，发现wpa_supplicant不是太爽了，不能支持wep，也不够灵活，想转向wicd。看了几篇文档，还是糊里糊涂的。请各位指教如何使用wicd。

有几个问题。

（1）wicd配置网络后，在/etc/conf.d/net中有什么特殊的设置吗？比如，原来只使用wpa_supplicant，原来有:

1. 
   
2. dns_servers_wlan0="208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 202.96.199.133 202.96.0.133"
   
3. modules="wpa_supplicant"
   
4. wpa_supplicant_wlan0="-Dwext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf"

改用wicd后（手册上说wicd要使用wpa_supplicant）还需要上面的设置吗？


（2）既然wicd可以同时管理无线和有线网络，那么还需要启动 /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 或 /etc/init.d/net.eth0吗？

（3）使用wicd后是不是可以不再使用ifplugd了？

如果你装wicd的时候认真一点，仔细一点，也许你就不用问这些问题了。
You may need to restart the dbus service after upgrading wicd.   
To start wicd at boot, add /etc/init.d/wicd to a runlevel and:
- Remove all net.* initscripts (except for net.lo) from all runlevels
- Add these scripts to the RC_PLUG_SERVICES line in /etc/conf.d/rc
(For example, RC_PLUG_SERVICES="!net.eth0 !net.wlan0")

谢谢楼上兄弟。实际上我是以前就装了wicd这个包一直没用。现在想起用了，却没看到ebuild的这些提示。

启动 /etc/init.d/wicd，此时wicd就已经在运行了。前台控制可以用wicd-client。其他的大可不用管。

wicd-client -n 启动图形界面后，选择相应的ssid， 点击connect程序就死了。如果使用root运行wicd-client 就没问题。
