我的conxeant hsf modem 无法在red hat 9.0下安装驱动！请大家指教！
内核2.4.20。参照linmodem上的文章也没用！
驱动版本是hsflinmodem-5.03.27lnxtbeta03042700.tar.gz
make install时没有问题，但在执行hsfconfig时出现问题，在检测完国家china之后，在recompiling时出错，以下是具体log：

各种方法基本都试过了，查不多绝望了，实在想不通，才上来问问各位仁兄。

这个驱动也试过：hsfmodem-6.03.00lnxt03091800free_k2.4.20_8-1rh.i686.rpm
执行后没有反应。在/dev/中有这个modem文件，但链接错误，指向的是ttyshsf0，但是在/dev下没有ttyshsf0这个文件！！！

郁闷中，linux真的是难用。我的creative vibra128被识别为5880，kde和gnome的音效都有，但是用xmms放mp3，却发现有时能放，有时就检测不到声卡或声卡驱动不能正常工作，没有规律性，使用的是默认驱动。请各位大虾帮帮忙，我是 新人，以后请多指教！

我的机器配置，tulatin cIII 1G，815ep主板，elsa geforce mx200，maxtor 40G，256M sdram，on－data 50X，creative vibra128，sumsung 753dfx

另外我想在本机上重新编译kernel，结果每次都是在执行make dep 之后出错，基本上全是*.o文件有问题，warning之后退出，不知是不是是2.4.20内核版本本身有问题，我在make menuconfig中将蓝牙，scsi，等全部去掉也不行，最后连ide的相关*.h和*.o文件也报错，我的命好苦呀！！！）：

这个驱动也试过：hsfmodem-6.03.00lnxt03091800free_k2.4.20_8-1rh.i686.rpm

其实没有那么难吧。
用这个驱动比较方便

rpm –ivh *.rpm ，设置kppp，如果找不到设备，就要在kppp的设置选项中＝》设备＝》调制解调器设备，多换几个设备来试。

能换什么设备？？
除了ttyshsf0之外，ttys0等都是串口的设备和内猫也没有什么关系！！

从新把red hat装了一遍,居然又好了, 真是服了
现在终于可以上网了..........

但是声音还是时好时坏,准备试试alsa

另外上面那个驱动是限速版, 还是第一个版本好一些, 5.3kb

根据红旗的内核版本号，然后下载与redhat相对应的版本的驱动包。
